Attention mental math enthusiasts! For 2019, we are planning a slightly different challenge. It will still be an addition but it won’t be 10 digit numbers, it will be shorter numbers.

Ten Wang won the 2018 Mental Math Championship!
This event, right after the Canadian Memory Championships was organized by Board Member Sanja Vukosavljevic. Many participated and Ten Wang was the only participant who answered correctly the first question. Congratulations!
New for 2018
There will be a New Canadian Mental Math Competition at the upcoming 2018 Canadian Memory Championships to find the top mental math athlete in Canada. This competition will be completely separate from the 4 Memory Disciplines of the 2018 Memory Championships and will comprise a single event of 10 minutes additions. It will be 10 numbers 10 digits long to be added. 12 such additions will be provided.

Du nouveau en 2018
Le Championnat canadien de la mémoire va comprendre une nouvelle discipline d’additions mathématiques cette année. Cette nouvelle discipline formera le Championnat canadien du calcul mental. Cette competition, n’étant pas une discipline de mémoire, ne comptera pas vers la détermination du nouveau champion/ne de mémoire. Nous allons simplement trouver un nouveau champion canadien du calcul mental. Cette competition va être composée d’une épreuve de 10 minutes d’additions. L’addition sera de 10 chiffres de 10 numéros chaqun et il y aura 12 de ces additions. Plus de détails a suivre.
